With the development of industrialization and sorts of science and technology,it is a research trend that graphic image processing technology is applied to seismic exploration work and seismic profile image enhancement has become a research hotspot in seismic profile preprocessing.However,due to the obvious directivity and rich details of the seismic profile image and the subjectivity of the image enhancement algorithm,simply using the traditional image enhancement algorithm has been unable to meet the practical needs.In order to better implement the details enhancement for seismic profile image,this dissertation has the image enhancement algorithm merged multi-resolution analysis and PCNN as the research focus.First of all,according to the characteristics of the seismic profile,the dissertation takes the multi-resolution analysis as the breakthrough point to study the seismic profile image enhancement algorithm.Secondly,in order to further enhance the details of image,the dissertation proposes a seismic profile image enhancement algorithm merged multi-resolution analysis and PCNN which can be more consistent with human visual characteristics.This algorithm improves PCNN through using the local gradients value of image pixel as the link intensity coefficient,adding the lateral inhibition signal to dynamic threshold function.And the details of high frequency component diagram after multi-resolution decomposition is enhanced by the improved PCNN.Finally,by comparing with the existing image enhancement algorithms,the validity and rationality of proposed algorithm are verified and proved it has better ability to enhance details for seismic profile image.The experimental results show that this algorithm solves the restriction problem of direction for details enhancement of seismic profile image.The edge and texture details are more plentiful and the overall contrast has improved to some degree after the image is enhanced by this algorithm.And it has a certain promoting effect for further interpretation and treatment of seismic data.
