With the rapid development of electronic technology and gradually increase of integrated circuit density, the cooling of electronic components is attracting more and more attention. With the addition of the fan, the radiating fin and other auxiliary components, the single phase fluid convection cooling technology which is traditional looks poor reliability,compact and low heat transfer efficiency in the cooling process of electronic equipment.Relative to this, loop heat pipe(LHP) using liquid medium's evaporation and condensation to achieve the heat transfer shows compact structure, strong heat transfer capability, long translation distance, convenient to installation and layout, the good anti gravity ability, not only can control the temperature passively but also can control it positively etc. In addition,compared to the traditional heat pipe, capillary wick of the loop heat pipe is only setted in the evaporator, avoiding the problems that too big of the reflow resistance which caused by too long or too small pore diameter of the wick. Therefore, the loop heat pipe is attracting more and more attention and application in thermal management of aviation and aerospace and the heat dissipation of high heat flow density electronic components and other aspects.Loop heat pipe(LHP) is a kind of efficient heat transfer device whose operating principle is based on the evaporation and condensation of a working fluid,and uses the capillary pumping forces to ensure the fluid circulation.The structure of LHP's evaporator can be divided into the circular tube type and the flat type, the plate type evaporator has the advantages of fitting the radiating surface easily, small heat transfer resistance and good temperature uniformity.The Experiment design a plate type double capillary wick evaporator loop heat pipe system, and build an experimental platform of the system, study the starting and operating performance, on account of the different factors such as filling rate, gravity angle influence on the system performance.It was found by the experimental design of flat evaporator loop heat pipe with double wick system: this LHP can improve the heat transfer capacity of the system, reduce the influence of the side wall of the compensation chamber of the thermal conductivity and reduce the system operating temperature, improve and enhance theoperating performance of the system.
