With the rapid development of technology and the continuous improvement of productivity in today's society, the using amount of electrical equipment for manufacturers is growing. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of equipment, real-time monitoring and tracking of equipment running status are needed for enterprises, so as to carry out timely maintenance and play a warning for equipment failure. It ultimately protects the electrical equipment, extends the service life of the electrical equipment,makes sure industrial safety and prevents industrial accidents.The thesis is to design a multifunctional monitoring system, which is applied to the actual production project. The system uses fieldbus and Ethernet networking technology for system networking, designs a multifunctional monitor using STM32 family of ARM chip as the main control chip. The monitor is able to measure water flow and temperature of the electrical equipment cooling system, alarm excessive water flow and temperature.By using fieldbus and Ethernet data transmission and protocol conversion technologies,the monitor implements a variety of electrical measurements collected by a small network transmitted through the network. All the measurements and collection data are transferred via the underlying communication network to the IPC Ethernet communication system.Industrial computer systems in the upper process and display measured data, find abnormal values so as to take timely measures, in order to achieve real-time monitoring the system. This can play a warning and ensure the system security.At first, the thesis summarizes the background, significance and research status of the multifunctional monitoring system; secondly, it introduces the overall design scheme of the system, including the system functional requirements, design of network structure and development platform of software and hardware; again describes the hardware design of the system; and then it discusses the CAN bus and RS-485 bus protocol conversion principle and realizing method; then it expounds the software design of the system,including the software design of the upper computer and the software design of the lower machine; finally, it displays the overall achieve results of the system, the system can run smoothly, and expectations of all functions have been realized.
