With the rise of the "Internet of Things", "Smart Home" concepts, wireless sensor networks technology has been ushered in a new wave of research. Wireless location technology, as one of the core technologies of wireless sensor networks, is relevant important when obtaining the precise position information of events. There are many interference factors in indoor environment that it results in the big positioning errors, which limits the development of indoor wireless location technology. Moreover, the efficient and reliable wireless location algorithm is the basis of successful applications of indoor wireless location technology. Therefore, how to design a high-performance, low-cost, high-accuracy wireless location algorithm to improve indoor positioning accuracy is a more significant problem. This article launches the research and design on wireless indoor positioning algorithm, the main items are as follows:1. Firstly, introducing briefly the research status and development trend of wireless sensor networks and wireless positioning technology, and analyzing the positioning principle of the existing indoor positioning system; Then, selecting the RSSI ranging algorithm with "low power consumption, easy to implement, strong scalability, large room for improvement" features as the basic algorithm based on the detailed introduction of wireless communication technology and the typical wireless location algorithm; Next, making an in-depth research on the algorithm thought of existing RSSI improved algorithms in order to lay the foundation for the design of the algorithm.2. Based on the research on the error sources of indoor positioning, this article proposes a RSSI-based indoor wireless positioning improved algorithm. In order to reduce the influence of interference factors on positioning, and enhance the environmental adaptability of the positioning algorithm, the algorithm set the multiple correction links, such as transmission parameter correction, differential correction, iterative correction, weighted correction and so on. The traditional RSSI algorithm, the improved algorithm and the three-dimensional expansion algorithm are analyzed and simulated by using Matlab simulation platform to verify the superiority and reliability of the improved algorithm.3. Because Matlab simulation condition is ideal, the influence of environmental interference factors can not be accurately simulated by Gaussian noise. It is necessary to transplant the improved algorithm into the indoor positioning system to make actual verification. Based on the existing positioning system solutions, this article develops a complete set of indoor positioning system, including positioning engine software, PC visualization software. After integrating the improved algorithm and the indoor positioning system, experiments are carried out to verify the actual environment.The simulation results and experimental results show that the proposed RSSI-based indoor wireless positioning algorithm is feasible and effective. It can significantly reduce the impact of environmental interference factors, reduce the positioning error and improve the positioning accuracy to achieve good positioning effect.
