Brain computer interface(BCI) is the most direct and effective method for human to pry into the mysteries of the brain, and it is also a very challenging research. It provides a direct channel for brain to communicate with the outside world, and has extremely important practical significance and great application value. In this thesis, using the technology to design a brain computer interface system based on motor imagery EEG signals, regarding the intelligent vehicle as a controlled object to carry on the discussion and research.Firstly in this thesis, the concept of brain computer interface technology is briefly introduced, and analyzing brain computer interface system work way and the research significance. The brain electrical signal of electrophysiological fundamentals are introduced in detail. The event-related synchronization/to synchronization phenomena are discussed, to lay a theoretical foundation for the research work in this thesis.Then analyzing and researching the signal processing methods. Several brain electrical signal preprocessing methods are introduced. Then using the method of the feature extraction algorithm based on based on AR model to obtain the feature vector and provide input data for classification of the next step. BP neural network algorithm is used to the motor imagery EEG intention recognition and classification algorithms. Completing network construction in Matlab, training and testing samples, predicating motor imagery of left or right hand movement classification.Finally using Emotiv EPOC brain computer equipment design of intelligent vehicle control system based on motor imagery, describes the overall design of the system and the function of each module are introduced, then from the two aspects of design software design and hardware design of the system in detail the details, and the vehicle trajectory tracking functions are introduced, finally testing the design of the whole system, and analyze the result.The results of the test show that the scheme of intelligent vehicle control system based on brain computer interface equipment is feasible, and the results for similar research have a certain reference value.
