With the development of wireless networking, mobile communication, terminal data processing and ubiquitous computing, location service and location-aware computing, with its characteristics of combining advanced mobile communication and Internet technology, has become one of the most prospective and potential value-added services of the mobile internet. Based on the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n communication protocols and flexible topology, the WIFI access has become an important supplement of the mobile communication system. Compared with the traditional geometry positioning technology, no need to consider adding additional hardware devices used to measure time and angle of costs, become a research hotspot at home and abroadThis paper mainly studies the rapid positioning technology based on WIFI fingerprint characteristics. The technology is mainly used for receiving terminal to position itself by the function of WIFI signal strength in the WIFI wireless network coverage of the environment. Compared with the existing GPS positioning technology, the technology has fast response speed, high precision, low equipment cost, etc. Based on the analysis of the existing WIFI positioning technology, the following from the aspects of the response from positioning speed, positioning accuracy and complexity of fingerprint database processing improve the fingerprint positioning technology:1. Affinity Propagation clustering technology is introduced into the WIFI positioning. Cluster center index generated by clustering, reduces comparisons of the whole fingerprint library to the comparisons of the cluster center index and the individual members of the cluster, improving the response speed and precision positioning.2. Bring in the sequence comparison to the WIFI positioning comparisons, which improves the positioning accuracy for heterogeneous terminals.3. Through the mobile terminals collecting fingerprint data and storing in a mobile phone, meanwhile, local data processing server processing fingerprint data offline, generating fingerprint database, which diminish the demand for network fingerprint data acquisition process.In this paper the Rapid positioning system has been realized and the algorithm has been tested. The algorithm has been proved by the Experimental results that the ideal environment of the WIFI coverage has the 90 percentages less than 5 meters, the WIFI coverage under the bad environment can reach 80 percentages less than 5 meters, the system can meet the project requirements.Both the algorithm and the system have come to the period of application. Meanwhile, the system will be deployed in large supermarkets, shopping malls and hospitals as the industry solutionsThe contents of this paper are supported by the special fund of the MIIT for the Internet of things, the central university basic research fund projects and so on.
