A Study On Minority Nationality College Students’ Confidence In Government

Nowadays,driven by economic globalization,the exchanges between countries,nations and cultures are becoming more frequent.While the development starts to show new characteristics in China,the international sensitive ethnic issues cause a strong domestic effect.Domestic and foreign hostile forces,especially in recent years,try to use the underdeveloped situation of minority nationality regions,the economic gap between different regions in mainland China,and other sensitive issues about democratic politics,language,and religious customs,to negatively influence minority nationality college students with ideological infiltration,political differentiation,and misunderstanding of government policies.As minority nationality college students are main forces in the development of minority nationality regions,their confidence on the Chinese government could directly affect the development of minority nationality regions and social progress,as well as the unity and social stability of all ethnic groups.Therefore,improving their confidence on the government is an issue that should be seriously addressed by the government and society.It is also an important task of ideological and political education in colleges and universities due to the potential effect on the stability of minority nationality regions.In order to ensure the unification of China,the social harmony,and the stability of the minority nationality regions,it is also urgent to deal with the confidence problem brought about by globalization.This thesis reviews a large amount of documents,and conducts questionnaire surveys to understand the current status and the corresponding influential factors on the confidence of minority nationality college students.Based on this,an approach for improving the confidence is proposed to facilitate the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.The thesis consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction part which mainly elaborates the background,the significance of the research,the recent studies on the confidence in government,and the novelty of this study.The second part mainly explains the terms used in this article such as the confidence in government.The third part mainly analyzes the confidence in government by conducting questionnaire surveys among minority nationality college students.The fourth part explains the problem of the confidence in government and the reason behind the problem from five aspects specifically national policy,society,school,family,and personal reason.From the same five aspects,the fifth part discusses the solution for solving the confidence problem.
