With the development of biology,the model is familiar to people as a simple and intuitive tool for recognizing things.Using biological models can explain biological facts and help students better understand complex biological knowledge.However,in the actual biological teaching process,the construction and application of biological model did not arouse the attention of educators,so that the biological model does not reflect its value.This paper analyzed the model construction cases of biology "heredity and evolution" in high school,optimizing the process and method of constructing various models of "heredity and evolution",that is,different types of models have different characteristics,according to the need of their model construction,make appropriate adjustment and improvement to its construction process and method.The National College Entrance Examination of Biology in the past five years are analyzed and collated.This paper summarizes the examination of the Genetic and Evolutionary Module in the college entrance examination in the past five years.Combined with the three typical cases of the college entrance examination,this paper analyzes the application cases of biological model,and sums up a set of methods to solve the problem by using the model.It is intended to provide guidance and help for the model construction and application of biology teachers and students.Meanwhile,the paper investigates the construction and application of the model of biology genetics and evolution module in high school,the problems and limitations of biological model construction and application in the teaching of this module are as follows:the theoretical system of biological model construction and evaluation is imperfect,the process of biological model construction is complex and gradual,students' understanding of biological model is not comprehensive,teachers' understanding of biological models in textbooks lack of systematic and less opportunities for students to participate in model construction in classroom teaching.This paper puts forward some pertinent suggestions and strategies from three aspects of school,teachers and students,which is intended to promote the construction of biological model with better application of biology teaching inthe module of heredity and evolution.
