Objectives:1.To understand the present situation of learning helplessness,achievement motivation,self-efficacy and self-esteem of medical college nursing students.2.To study the relationship between learning helplessness and achievement motivation of nursing students,and the relationship between learned helplessness,self-esteem and self-efficacy.Exploring the internal mechanism of the influence of learned helplessness on achievement motivation,to analyze the mediating effect of self-esteem and self-efficacy.3.The effectiveness of the solution-focused group counseling on improving the helplessness of nursing students.Methods:1 Doing investigation: the "college students Learned Helplessness Questionnaire","Achievement Motivation Scale","General Self-efficacy Questionnaire","Self-Esteem Scale" as the survey of the four instruments.A total of 550 students participated in the survey in the first and third grade of nursing students in a medical university.The main contents of the research include: to understand the status quo of the acquisition of nursing undergraduates helplessness,self-esteem,self-efficacy and achievement motivation through statistics,and then analyzes the relationship between the four,it is learned helplessness mechanism through which the effect of achievement motivation.2 Doing measurement: from 140 people randomly selected low achievement motivation in a packet of 70 people as the research object,divided into two groups,intervention group and control group,each 35 people,designed for nursing students tofocus their helplessness to solve the group counseling program,8 group counseling intervention group.Two times a week.After the end of the project,the control group of the corresponding group counseling.Using paired sample t test,independent sample t test and other statistical methods for data analysis.Results:1.The results of the survey:Using the frequency,average,standard deviation of the project description statistics,the use of independent samples t test,correlation analysis and linear regression for statistical inference,the results show that:(1)The total score of learned helplessness of nursing students was 31.70 ±12.38.The sense of helplessness dimension score was 24.39±9.84,and the score of hopelessness was 7.31±3.13.There was no significant difference in gender,origin,and only child.There were significant differences in different grades(t=5.200,P < 0.05).The first grade was significantly higher than grade two.(2)The success score of nursing students was 49.37±7.94,and the score of avoiding failure was 47.12±8.89,and the score of achievement motivation was 2.21±12.88.There was no significant difference in achievement motivation in gender,grade,origin,and only child.(3)The score of self esteem of nursing students was 31.27±3.17,and the score of self-efficacy was 23.73±4.72.There were differences in self-esteem(t=2.249,P <0.05),grade two was significantly higher than grade one.There is a significant difference in self-esteem between the only child(t=2.092,P < 0.05),the only child is significantly greater than the non only child.There were gender differences in self-efficacy(t=2.700,P < 0.05),boys were significantly higher than girls.There was a significant difference in self-efficacy between the only child(t=3.233,P< 0.05).There was no significant difference in self-esteem and self-efficacy among other groups.(4)Nursing students learned helplessness,self-esteem,self-efficacy and achievement motivation were significantly related,and learned helplessness,self-esteem,self-efficacy has effect on achievement motivation,self-esteem and self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role between the learned helplessness and achievement motivation.The mediating effect of self-esteem accounted for-0.076*-1.254/-0.239=39.88% of the total effect,and the mediating effect of self-efficacy accounted for-0.077*1.076/-0.252=32.88%.2.Intervention study results: Using the independent sample t test and paired sample t test for the intervention group and the control of the pretest and posttest group and group comparison,the results show that:(1)In the comparison group in the intervention group learned helplessness(t=2.717,P < 0.05),achievement motivation(t=-2.548,P < 0.05),self-esteem(t=-2.249,P <0.05),self-efficacy(t=2.858,P < 0.05)before and after the test results have significant difference.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).(2)In group comparison,learned helplessness(t=2.079,P < 0.05)in the intervention group after the measured values were lower than the control group,achievement motivation(t=-2.314,P < 0.05),self-esteem(t=-3.015,P < 0.05),self-efficacy(t=-2.335,P < 0.05)intervention after the group measured values were significantly higher than the control group.Conclusion:(1)The perceived helplessness,self-esteem and self-efficacy of undergraduate nursing students are the most important factors that influence the achievement motivation,and the correlation between the four is significant.(2)The learned helplessness of undergraduate nursing students can directly predict achievement motivation level,but also can indirectly predict self-esteem and self-efficacy,and self-esteem and self-efficacy play a partial mediating effect.(3)Solution-focused group counseling is more effective for improving the learning helplessness of nursing students.
