The main purpose of this thesis is to explore an ethnographic study of the provincial culture of Pakistan.The study also examines the religious and cultural differences between all the provinces.Pakistan is a multiethnic and multicultural county comprising a population that is diverse in terms of the ethnicity/race,languages and religions.As Pakistan was a part of India before independence from Great Britain in 1947,fundamentally a divider appropriated part of their land and created Pakistan as a separate Islamic nation.It has been estimated that approximately 97 percent of the population are Muslims but peoples of several minority religions are also living there,including Christians,Parsis,Hindus,Buddhists,and Sikhs.In this study,we have also discussed Sufi shrines,the majority,and minority religions.Sufi shrines which hold a great significance in Pakistani society.Sufi shrines inhabit a vital position in the cultural and social as well as religious and culture life of rituals,Saints,traditional belief,sounds,trance,dance,music in ethnic healing,and spiritual illness/disease.It is not only a place of belief and devotion based on Sufi shrines but a place where Muslims and non-Muslim take part in happiness activities together.The design and architecture of the Sufi Shrines have local as well as worldwide influences,representative spiritual,belief systems,economic,and aesthetic dimensions of Muslim social institute.Therefore,Muslims'association with the Sufi Shrines has much importance from traditional,political,social and economic perspectives.Centered on an ethnographic illustration,this research aims to highlight the use of Sufi Shrines space and Peoples' Perceptions about Visiting Sufi shrines in the ethnic perspective of rural and urban Sindh.In addition,to discussing the socio-spatial interactions about the Sufi shrines,this study has discovered that most majorities of the people and visitors have a strong belief system upon the blessings of the Sufi and they visit shrines to fulfill their social,mental economic,physical,religious and spiritual wishes.We used ethnographic method(conducting interviews).The cultural evaluation of all the four provinces i.e.Punjab Sindh,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan has been made.For a theoretical frame of work of describing cultural analysis,we have used Hofstede's cultural dimensions.The purpose of this study is to investigate the provincial cultural difference in Pakistan using Hofstede framework as a tool.Various professional analyst(university professors),students,writers,religious persons,Sufis,intellectuals,politician,anthropologist,civil society members from four provinces has been interviewed.From the collected data results,it has pointed out that Pakistan is a huge sort of cultures but their every custom is attached to religious because Pakistan is an ideological Islamic state its very existence is due to Islam,thus the Pakistani culture is primarily based on the Islamic way of life.All other ingredients of culture are inspired by Islam.Islamic culture can be found dominating in every aspect of our lives in spite of modernization.Although Pakistani culture in its present shapes prominently Islamic but it has been influenced by the various cultures of the sub-continent to a great extent.That is why Pakistani culture quite differed than the culture of other Islamic countries.
