The Study Of The Aged Day-care Services With The Involvement Of Social Work

The aging of China presents the characteristics of a large population base,rapid development and increasing aging trend,China's basic national conditions and development stage determine the specificity of aging population in China.It makes our country deal with the issue of aging population with more arduous tasks,which has already attracted the attention of the government and society.At the same time,favorable measures were taken.At present,China's pension model has three models,mainly including traditional family pension,specialized pension institutions and community-home pension with family-based support.The last model is an important way to solve the problem of service for aged in China.It is more and more popular and the elderly could the various services provided by the community which was familiar with them.Based on the traditional pension model,it creates the model and updates the concept of service for the aged.As the core of community-home pension,naturally day care attracts public attention.However,at present,China's day care services have the issues with insufficient service supply and low quality.While it no longer meets the diversification needs of social pensionsby solely relying on traditional methods to solve the issues.This requires elderly social workers to improve the service quality and welfare of day care.This paper aims at taking the day care center involved in D social worker institutions as a typical study case to extend to the whole environment to discuss how the social work is involved in the service construction of day care center and promote the social work to break the bottleneck in the intervention of urban community home care services and achieve better development.This paper takes D social worker institutions to take part in day care center in T city as an example and adopts the ways of unstructured participation and visits to fully understand the characteristics of the elderly population in T City,the status of D social workers institutions,and the service method and specific content of social workers' Intervention in day care.The day care center with the intervention of D social worker institutions is funded by government and managed by social worker institutions.After entering the center,the social workers actively start with service practices and explore the day care service model.Therefore,they have three aspects about the functions and service categories of day care,which are basic services,special services and innovative services.In practice,based on the feasibility and effectiveness of the professional methods by social workers in day care services,the social workers use the combination of direct intervention and other indirect interventions to provide professional services for the elderly.It has offered some feasible advice which aims at the existing problems of D social worker institutions day care center in the aspect of management,human resources and professional services.
