Under the background of economic globalization,with the deepening of the basic education reformation in China,the bilingual education is also developing vigorously.On the basis of the references research on teachers' professional development,teachers' professionalism and teachers' professional development ways,this paper summarizes the definition of the middle school bilingual chemistry teacher and the teachers' professional development through references reviewing,investigating and analyzing the research on the professional development ways of bilingual chemistry teachers in middle schools through questionnaires and interviews.By investigating and analyzing the reserach on the professional development ways of bilingual chemistry teachers in middle schools based on the questionnaires and interviews,we summarized the present situation and characteristics of the professional development of bilingual chemistry teachers in middle schools in the process of educational practice,and analyzed the ought-to-be state of professional development of bilingual chemistry teachers in middle schools according to the basic requirements of the new curriculum reform for middle school teachers' professionalism and teachers' professional ethics.The questionnaires show that most of the middle school bilingual chemistry teachers are not able to be better adapted to their own work,and they are relatively weak in their professional skills and their bilingual chemistry experiment teaching ability.Besides,the lack of training methods for bilingual chemistry teachers in middle schools has a direct impact on whether teachers can make reflection teaching and improve themselves in a timely manner.The interviews show that the bilingual chemistry teachers in middle schools have certain professional dedication,but they lack access to professional knowledge,and they are weak in professional knowledge and professional skills.They have heavy work,too much pressure and a relatively low level of happiness.In a word,according to the questionnaires and interviews,it is found that the bilingual chemistry teachers in middle schools lack access to professional knowledge and have poor professional ability,and they lack of training methods.The professional development ways of the bilingual chemistry teachers in middle schools are setting up the direction of international teacher education in higher normal colleges and universities,strengthening the bilingual teaching studies in local teachingand research departments and normal colleges and universities,improving teachers' training materials preparation work for the bilingual chemistry teachers in middle schools,carrying out training as well as teaching and research activities for the bilingual chemistry teachers in middle schools,establishing the management system of survival of the fittest,and improving teachers' skills and ability to use English.
