| Different factors in the physical education classes,like the monotonousteaching content and teaching method,thestereotypical teaching procedure,the teacher-centered organization and the excessive explanation often lead to students’ losing interest inphysical education classes despite their growing interest in sports,which is a major constraint,eventually,toan effective physical education class.However,rhythmic activities are prevalent both in the domestic and the foreign primary and secondary school physical education systems.Rhythm Teaching is largely appreciated home and abroad by many physical education teachers for it can stimulate students1 interest in sports,and maintain a pleasant mood to improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching.Besides,Rhythm Teaching itself has irreplaceable fitness value and social value.So,based on the actual conditions,can we learn from the advanced teaching experience in Rhyme Teaching abroad to benefit physical education at Chinese primary school,through the improvementof the enthusiasm of students to improve the effectiveness of our currentphysical education classroom teaching?Thus,based on the actual situation of primary school students in China,in this study,Rhyme Teaching is scientifically and rationallyapplied to the teaching of various types of teaching content.And it is further explored and verifiedin the influences on the mental and physical fitness of primary school students to make the most realistic theoretical argument for the feasibility of the rhythm teaching in the implementation of primary schools in China,and to make useful practical exploration for the reform of primary school physical education in Shanghai.This study is based on the principle of no significant difference in the data before the selection of students form each classof Gradel,3,5,as the experimental group,respectively,atShanghai Mingde Foreign Language Primary School inFengxian District.Two classes of Grade 1 and 3,respectively and one class of Grade5 atQixian school(because there is only one class of Grade5 in our school)students are as control groups.There areall together 103 students in experimental group,and 101 in the control group.The effects of Rhythm Teaching on physical health,interest in physical education and psychological benefits were studied by means of literature references,questionnaire,teaching experiment and mathematical statistics.After nine months of experimental study of Rhythm Teaching,the conclusions are as follows:1.In the primary school physical education classroom teaching,children’s songs,rhythmic gymnastics and music in Rhythm Teachingcan improve the physical fitness of primary school students,such as vital capacity,seat and reach,50 meters,sit-ups and 50mx8 round-trip results.And the improvement in 50 meters is particularly evident.2.Rhythm Teaching can improve the participation of primary school students in physical education,stimulate the enthusiasm of learning,reduce the negative interest,and improve self-learning.And it plays an important role in promoting students’ learning interest.3.Rhythm Teaching can improve interpersonal skills of primaryschool students,their self-perception of the body and self-psychological adjustment,the correct attribution of the problem,and the tendency to seek support after exercise.It is beneficial to thempsychologically. |
