The reform of new curriculum has been implementing since 2004 in China and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region became one of the provinces to revolutionize in November,2012.The students have much trouble in learning chemistry, one of the compulsory courses in Senior School, which includes the disjoint of teaching materials between junior and senior middle school, the winding way to present the knowledge and students' lack of cognitive ability. What is the most important function of teaching aims to assist the students to solve their own unsolved problems so as to find out the students' learning difficult points from perspective of the students themselves, which will have a significant impact on their further study. The objective of the research is to find out the students' learning difficult points in chemistry Bookl(published by PEP),explore some strategies and make proper teaching design based on a variety of theories, such as Ausubel's Meaningful Learning Theory,Constructive Theory and Cognitive Theory, and then follows teaching experimental research, trying to prove the effectiveness of the strategies corresponded to the improvement of teaching difficulties.According to the questionnaire, there are five points considered the most difficult by the students, which are iron compounds, sulfuric acid and nitric oxide and aluminum compounds, the amount of substance of the unit-Moore,redox reaction.Four reasons can be used to account for it:teachers' teaching;abstract concepts;having not enough ability to understand the principle of redox reaction and failing to the classification of logical derivation material for the concept.Meanwhile, there are four strategies put forward, which includes he implementation of teaching based on the requirements of curriculum;setting up the anthropomorphic situation;Mind map and encouraging the students to use the oxidation reduction reaction principle to understand the nature of the matter. These measures turned out to be effective through the study carried out in the experiment.
