The process of students' learning mental models are studied in this paper.According to the paper,cognitive processes are better understood and optimized by Students,meanwhile better organized teaching and improved teaching quality can be enjoyed by teachers.The existing research about mental models are focused on the chemical equilibrium,chemical bond and other parts while the research about crystal is still blank.In this paper,the expanding research perspective in the mental models in the research field of chemistry education are innovated,and the crystal which contains abstract contents and special characteristics in normal rules are studied.In this paper,mental model connotation and formation mechanism are the basis and the status quo at home and abroad about mental model are combined.The crystal structure and properties of mental models are studied to test students about the structure and properties of crystal misconceptions,then the model in the myth of the crystal structure and properties are concluded in this part.The mental models of students are analyzed and a statistical analysis is conducted.Corresponding suggestions of teaching and learning are put forward according to the analysis.A questionnaire survey was conducted on the basis of theory construction which mainly includes two parts,first of all it was designed in a “crystal structure and properties of the mental model questionnaire “about the related issues in the concept of crystal.Students were tested in the key high school in Heilongjiang province.After the questionnaire was assured to have good reliability and validity,statistical software was used to analyze the development status of the crystal structure and properties of mental models of senior high school students.Through statistical analysis of survey data,the results were concluded that the students' crystal structures and properties of the mental model were generally incomplete,unstable and gradually developed and improved.Application of fuzzy model and memory error link model are the myth model of students which are often appeared in the crystal structure and the properties of this part at the same time.Sex has no significant effect on the scientificity of crystal structure and properties of mentalmodels,and the study interests have a significant impact on macro characterization of mental models and relatively simple microscopic characterization.In this paper,factual basis for optimizing the structure and properties of crystal are put forward.The teaching and learning strategies are given to provide first-hand information for the optimization of teaching.Convenient explanation are enjoyed by teachers and efficient learning are offered to students according to this research.
