The Relationship Between Human Capital,social Capital And Employment Expectation Of Heavy Events Athletes

With the grim national employment situation,China has paid great attention to the employment of athletes.It is difficult for athletes,especially heavy events athletes to find satisfying jobs.The employment of athletes is affected by many factors,both external and personal.And due to factors such as sports injuries,low socialization,low prevalence of the events,and difficult market operation,it is particularly difficult for heavy athletes to be employed.Of all the factors affecting athletes' employment,athletes' employment expectation cannot be neglected,for which,to a certain extent,may influence athletes' smooth employment and their employment quality.In light of this,this thesis mainly analyzes the relationship between human capital,social capital,and athletes' employment expectation,hoping to help athletes form reasonable employment expectation.This thesis takes the relationship between human capital,social capital and the expectation of heavy events athletes as the research object,and the weightlifting,wrestling and judo athletes of Liaoning Vocational and Technical College of Sports as the investigating subjects to investigate the current situation of human capital,social capital and employment expectation of heavy events athletes with the help of research methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics.At the same time,the relationship between human capital,social capital and employment expectation of heavy event athletes is statistically described and analyzed.(1)In the factor of human capital: event level,competition level and health status have an important impact on athletes' employment expectation.(2)In the factor of social capital: registered permanent residence,the education background,occupation,technical titles,administrative ranks and social class of parents as well as the number,the highest professional level of the people who may provide help and the intimate degree with the people who may offer help have a significant impact on athletes' employment expectation.(3)The heavy event athletes are relatively short in human capital and social capital,but they are with higher employment expectation.Based on the above research conclusions,following suggestions are put forward:athletes should attach great importance to the accumulation and utilization of the two kinds of capitals.And their families hold reasonable expectation to them,urge them in the right direction and accumulate social capital as much as possible.To play its part,the schools are also supposed to optimize the employment guidance system and attach importance to the cultivation of employ ability.The government,accordingly,is expected to formulate relevant policies,improve the training system,and create a fair employment environment.
