Practice Strategy Researching With Inquiry-based Learning In Junior High School

With the development of era and society,the development of Chinese education has reached a new stage,whereas the traditional teaching methods can not meet requirement of teaching in education field since a lot of shortcomings has appeared,such as pay much attention to teaching and explaining but not ability cultivating,be of great weight to problem solving skills but not knowledge discovery and give added weight to poor or good performance but not hobby cultivation.At present,a overall and deeply reform has been applied in basic education,and New Curriculum Reform is conducted across our country.New teaching methods emerge endlessly,tending to diversity,which are widely used by educators according to its variety of characters.Inquiry-Based learning is one of the most outstanding,popular and widely used in the teaching field in that it emphasize motivating perception of exploring so as to probe into maths knowledge just as a scholar,which play an important role in the development of maths perception and ability cultivation.However,since we have a long way to go in the developing and improving about Inquiry-Based learning,the author is committed to practice strategy researching with Inquiry-Based learning in junior high school.Based on literature review and one term of observing and recording in class,the author find out the shortcomings,basic characters and the steps of implementation of Inquiry-Based learning appeared in the process of teaching,which are embodied in the examples.Meanwhile,during the process of contrastive experiments of two class in one term,the author also made a research on the relationship between Inquiry-Based learning and students' performance,interest and study ability.The author find that the students' attitude and interest are not good and the students' exploring perception and ability still remain to improve before the experiments while all the factors are critically improved after the experiments---much moreinterest in maths studying,improvement of language expression ability,much more communications with their classmates and teachers,improving of exploring abilities and the critically improving of class efficiency are show up.This shows that Inquiry-Based learning does good to improve the students' math performance,interest,attitude,math exploring perception and math exploring ability.So Inquiry-Based Learning should be applied in junior high school math teaching for popularization and application.
