There is a group of old people who live quietly in every corner of the country,counting the days when their children return home,and they call them empty nesters.The so-called empty nest,known as the "empty nest",is a metaphor for the empty,lonely state of the family after leaving the nest.The "empty nesters" is an elderly person who lives alone without children or children.Living inconveniences,feeling lonely,suffering...The "empty nesters" is often only known to be lonely and lonely.See much that is old and vicissitudes of the face,always dull pain in my heart,they should be in a very enjoy family happiness,rather than the cultivator,work,endure pain,lonely alone...Along with the accelerating population aging process,as well as the rural man mo ving fast and population migration greatly,the rural empty nest elderly percentage in creases gradually,has become a social problem of concern.I was born in a beautiful s hangluo city,shaanxi province,a remote location makes the rural empty nest elderly h ere more vulnerable,the village is lack of resources,the traffic is not convenient,and it is economic-backward.So the empty-nest elderly' life here is very easy to get into d ifficulty.Therefore,I chose xinsheng village of shangluo city shaanxi province as the r esearch base,hoping to contribute to the further development of my hometown.I main ly use the way of questionnaire survey,supplemented by observation method,intervie w method and so on to investigate the empty-nest elderly of the Xinsheng village.Qu estionnaire is mainly for investigating the empty-nest elderly' health status,children v isit condition,economy,mental state,etc.The questionnaire is finished with professio nal social work method for social work practice under the leadership of social work values and uphold the professional concept and attitude.This research is mainly based o n the knowledge of Empowerment Theory.And it is to increases the power of the emp ty-nest elderly and improve their ability of actual life by utilizing the method of social case work,and it achieved some results.It proved that the social work intervention in rural empty-nest elderly is necessary and feasible.This research is aimed at attracting more people' attention to rural empty-nest elderly,improving their living condition,a nd making them live a happy life in their rest life.
