Ideological and political education as an important part of higher education,aimed at improving the ideological and political quality of college students,to promote them to achieve free and comprehensive development.Whether the success of ideological and political education in colleges and universities is not only related to the realization of ideological and political education goals,but also involves the realization of Chinese dreams.But for a long time,ideological and political education in colleges and universities because of the content and methods of social adaptability and other issues,resulting in ideological and political education fall into a predicament of lack of attractiveness and effectiveness.In addition,in recent years,the phenomenon of moral landslide appeared in the society,the moral anomie of young college students has frequently happened,and the value and function of ideological and political education in colleges and universities have been criticized and questioned.Moral narration as an ancient way of moral education,is a certain ideas and moral values contained in the story,through the story of the way to convey to the students,so that the students imperceptibly accept and internalize the ideas and moral norms behind the story in the process of listening to the story,and in practice will be externalized into their own good moral behavior.Moral narration with its content of life,the value of hidden and other unique advantages,to make up for the prevalence shortcoming of the infused and preached in the ideological and political education.It injected a new vitality into the ideological and political education,help to improve the effect of ideological and political education,promote the realization of the goals of ideological education and political.This paper mainly uses literature research,comparative research and comprehensive research and other methods.On the basis of the previous research,we can explore the value and concrete application of moral narration in ideological and political education from five aspects.First of all,from the research reasons,domestic and foreign research summary,research significance,research methods and innovation and other aspects of this topic are summarized;Secondly,on the basis of clarifying the concept and characteristics of moral narration,combing the historical development of moral narration at home and abroad from the development of moral narration in westerneducation and the moral narration in traditional Chinese education;Thirdly,starting from the problems existing in the ideological and political education in colleges and universities,analyzes the complementary function of moral narration to ideological and political education.And from the theoretical and practical dimensions to explore in depth the value of moral narration in ideological and political education,So as to provide a realistic basis for the moral narration in the field of ideological and political education;Fourthly,it expounds the basic ideas of moral narration in ideological and political education from three aspects: the use of objectives,the use of principles and the use of conditions with the overall perspective.And to make a systematic approach of the concrete application of moral narration mode in all areas of the ideological and political education.Fifthly,put forward the concrete application of moral narration methods from the ideological and political teaching theory class teaching,daily work of ideological and political education,campus culture and network ideological and political education in four areas.And provide the methodological guidance for the practical application of moral narration in ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
