In the deepening of the history teaching research and the basic education curriculum reform,the research of the history textbook is more and more.The selection of historical materials in textbooks is also the focus of the study.In this paper,Mainland Yuelu version and Taiwan Hanlin version of high school history textbooks as an example,a comparative study of two versions of historical data selection,hope to provide new ideas for the practice of history teaching.There are five parts in this paper: the first part is the prolegomenon,this part mainly introduces the topic reasons,the present research situation,the research methods and the difficulties of the research;the second part explains the definition and classification of historical textbooks and their functions,historical materials,and makes a brief comparison between the two textbooks;the third part is divide the history of the text into the text of historical materials and pictures of the historical data of the two parts,from the selection of the number,arrangement,presentation and other aspects of statistical analysis;The fourth part is from the Yuelu version of " the use of historical materials " and "the source of historical data",the Hanlin version of " the use of historical materials " and " the combination of pictures and text annotation" to discusses the two version of the history textbook historical use.The fifth part is based on the analysis and comparison of the third and the fourth part of the paper summarizes the similarities and differences of the historical materials of the two edition of the textbook.Through the comparative study on the selection of historical materials in the two edition of the mainland and Taiwan high school history textbooks,two edition of high school history textbook selection of a variety of materials,rich and colorful,and meet the requirements of the curriculum standards and curriculum outline;different versions of textbooks according to their own history learning requirements,different historical data selection methods are adopted.After the comparison of the two thinking,it is a reference for the compilation of high school history textbooks and the teaching of historical materials.
