The "Xianjia" Belief And Practice Of Liaoning Provence

“Xian jia” belief in Liaoning Provence is the research subject of this thesis,the study will start from the perspective of the background of “Xian jia”,comparative analyse the relationship of inheritance and combination between shamanism and “four bid divisions(Si Da Men)”,introduce the basic situation of “Xian Jia” : object of belief,media belief,belief groups,classification,basic operation process,and thick describe associated rituals and its symbolic meaning xiangxide,and try to analyze the symbolism of the sacred space.The thesis combines previous research results,according to the author's field work,combined with the local myths and legends,describes the basic status of "Xian jia" belief by symbolic anthropology and religious anthropology,tries to answer "Why did these animals become ‘Xianjia'? What is the symbolic meaning? What symbol system did they constitute ? What's kind of the symbol of the world order behind the belief?" The thesis will do "Deep description" with ceremony process as far as possible,and analyse process and constructed the sacred space of symbolic significance with related theoretical.The thesis will start from "four beams eight columns" on Tang Dan(shrine),analyse the locals' view of god,reveale "Xian jia" ‘s position in the local world view and cosmology.This thesis is divided into three parts:The first part: exordium and the first chapter,introduct the study of Chinese folk religion and “Xian Jia”general situation of the research status and the field point;The second part: the second and third chapter,it is the main content of the article,introduces "Xian jia" belief and analyse the symbolic significance of ceremony,answer the problem of how to construct the myth of solution "Xian jia" belief image,from the perspective of the "Tang Dan(shrine)",using the theory of metaphor empire to reveal deity pedigree of “Xian jia”belief,and explain the symbolic system from the sacred space and ceremony process.The third part: the fourth chapter,that is conclusion and reflection,reflection on this kind of cultural phenomenon of "Xian jia" belief.Try to compose local people's world view and cosmology,reveal the locals "chih chung he," show that local people built the world order and Da Xian(brother)playing an important part in the local daily life.From the study we can see,people hold both respect,admire,trust and ambiguous attitude of fear and worry with "Xianjia" belief,,explore the vague image and its role and meaning of the symbol is very meaningful,reflected by the end of the article will also reflect the belief and the metaphor of social reality.
