Look at classics reading part of the language teaching material, is in seven of the 10 this classic novel is. So, a number of novel in the language teaching material, a small amount of data is only the surface of Numbers. In addition, in the annual college entrance examination, the form of the novel also from scratch. This analysis, a novel this literary genre component of Chinese teaching in middle school are very heavy. But the novel teaching in practical teaching, has a very embarrassing side. Although novels are excerpts from episodic into the middle school Chinese textbook, but relative to other subjects of work is still very long. In the limited class time, how to use teaching can make students have the ability to read novels, like reading novels, episodic to novels by class learning,thus able to consciously extended to read the whole novel, extend to more works of fiction, even form the reading habit of reading the novel, become a teacher of Chinese is quite challenging problems in teaching.This thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the current high school novel teaching. The second chapter is the ideal reader is put forward. In the first chapter discusses the relationship between reader and text. Secondly, the many theorists proposed theory of readers construct, combined with the practices of middle school students, put forward in the high school should cultivate what kind of ideal reader and how the reader should have ability of reading can improve the current reading situation of senior high school students. The third chapter is about how to improve students' reading ability, to develop it into an ideal reader, put forward the theoretical construction and the idea, namely the way of teaching students to read and use the reading process. The last part of this paper introduces three kinds of method of reading: reading narrative symbols reading, reading, and structure. By introducing the way of reading, and combined with related novels in middle school teaching material, design the teaching problem, hope that through this way, to cultivate students' mastery of the reading. At the same time, also hope that students will be able to have a certain way of reading in the reading for reading the consciousness of the novel.
