Investigation And Research On The Present Situation Of Yuejia Boxing Inheritance In Xinxiang City

Xinxiang City is located in the Central Plains, backed by the Taihang Mountains,belonging to the Yellow River Basin. Its environment is beautiful, and rich in resources,as the same time, Xinxiang City was not only the important line of defense for enemy north invade Central Plains, but has always been a military strategist. The famous Makino war, Zhang Liang stabbed Qin, military mutiny at Chenqiao in history all occurred in the Xinxiang boundary. In Southern Song Dynasty, Jin Bing invaded the south, the national hero Yue Fei led soldiers to recover Xinxiang, left rich spiritual and cultural heritage for Xinxiang people. Fan’s Yuejia boxing originated in Yue Fei, after tempered of battlefield, its theory changed more profound, and the actual combat skills changed more flexible. Fan’s Yuejia boxing got Xinxiang people’s favor and identity, its profound boxing and the patriotic spirit has also been inherited and carried forward the generation in Xinxiang City. But with the development of the times, and the impact of various factors, the heritage status of Yuejia boxing is not optimistic.In order to better inherit and carry forward the Yue Jiaquan, this study adopts the method of literature, expert interview, field investigation and so on to re-excavate and inherit the historical origin of Yuejia boxing in Xinxiang City. Through investigated and analyzed the status quo of Xinxiang City Yuejia boxing, the author puts forward the problems in the inherited status quo, finally, the paper puts forward some suggestions on the inheritance of Yuejia boxing in Xinxiang City.The results are as follows:1. Xinxiang YueJia boxing originated from Yue Fei, Fan Zu , a Yue Fei’s department, put Yue Jiaquan as their family inheritance. Qianlong thirty-four years,Fan’s fifteenth generation descendant Fan Guang took Yuejia boxing into Xinxiang.Tongzhi five years,Fan’s 18th generation descendant Fan qingyuan passed open YueJia boxing to Shang Wenyuan and several other disciples. By 2012, Lu Quanzhen was named the provincial representative of Yuejia boxing by the Henan Provincial Department of Culture.2. The heritage site of Xinxiang Yuejia boxing is focus on Makino area.3. The representative inheritance and folk inheritors of Xinxiang Yuejia boxing are concurrent.4. The inheritance object of Xinxiang Yuejia boxing is divided into social enthusiasts, students and burglary disciples.5. Inheritance includes basic movements, boxing, equipment, which take Lianba-chui, Xiaozi-quan as the main heritage content.6. Inherited ways: family inheritance, apprenticeship system, field predestined succession, martial arts heritage, external exchange, research, into the campus, media heritage.According to the survey results, the author puts forward some problems in the present situation of Yuejia boxing inheritance in Xinxiang, such as narrow in the range of inheritance; the authority of the successor to be improved; heritage content is not targeted;media use is not sufficient; lack of talent pool, shortage of funds and so on. Suggested countermeasures for the above questions: to widen the heritage area; strengthen research and innovation in the heritage content; strengthen government intervention in organizational management; try to digitize inheritance; cooperation with the University in the personnel training.
