Middle school is an important stage in the development of students’ design thinking,design thinking has just formed,has a certain ability and innovative spirit,is the best time to cultivate the ability of design.But in the "design and application" practice teaching,the author found that the effect of design class is not good,the form and content of the students lack of innovation,and there is not much practical.With the implementation of the new curriculum standard,effective "design and application"classroom becomes the author’s research objectives.The author has explored the effective teaching method of "design and application"in the Middle School of the middle school through the four years of "design and application" teaching experience.During the period has carried out many times in the middle of the design of teaching and open class,while the usual daily design teaching in the accumulation of teaching experience,summed up their own design and application of the six step teaching mode".According to the design teaching mode,it is more practical to use in the classroom,expand students’ thinking and improve the teaching quality of design course.This paper is divided into five parts:the first part is the introduction,describes the research background and motivation and research at home and abroad;the second part is an overview of the teaching of the primary school "design and application" curriculum,including the connotation and significance of the research,the curriculum content;the third part is the primary school "design and application" course "six step" teaching the"mode of practice,I design a book" as an example,the main part of this thesis is;fourth part is the primary school "of the reflection and Prospect of design and application courses,including research achievements and shortcomings and prospects;the fifth part is the conclusion.The innovation of this paper lies in the "six step teaching mode" in the sixth point "comprehensive development",can be fully inspired in the design course of innovative thinking,rich design content.After nearly 4 years of "design and application" classroom teaching practice,the research of the teaching mode of "design and application" in the middle school has achieved good results."Six step" teaching model can well develop the students’ interest in the design of classroom,cultivating innovative consciousness and practical ability and the ability to beautify life,also make the author later in the primary school art "design and application" course teaching in the teaching method of specific operational.
