Nowadays,foreign trade is becoming more and more frequent,and international cultural exchange is increasing day by day.The use of English is especially important Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Kashgar region is the main settlement of Uygur,ethnic minority students in Kashgar area learn Uygur,Chinese and English.English learning is not only important for the progress and development of the region,but also plays an important role in improving the economic situation.This paper takes Uyghur middle school students from No.6 middle school in kshiger,Xinjiang Autonomous prefecture as a sample,and conducts an investigation and in-depth study,the results of which show that the English teaching situation is satisfying.The reason why it is so is that there are many factors that affect the smooth progress of English teaching,such as lack of English teachers,lack of language environment,lack of English teaching equipment.Besides,the English textbooks students use are not suitable for their actual situation.Nor are the supplemental books for practice.At the same time,through interviews and questionnaires,this paper analyzes the present situation of Uighur junior middle school students' English learning in Kashgar of Xinjiang,summarizes the characteristics of these students in the learning process,finds out the problems in English learning,and gives some solutions and suggestions,hoping to give minority language teaching inspiration in both Kashgar and other ethnic minority students in other parts of China.This paper mainly includes the following five parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly elaborates the research background,the significance and the research method of this article.It also involves the profile of the Kashgar region English education development the influence of way of life on the English education as well as the necessity on English teaching in Xinjiang Kashgar region.All of which laid a solid foundation for the later research.The second part is the literature review,which presents the definition of Trilingual Education and Language Transfer and Language Acquisition comprehensively,as well as the research situation at home and abroad.The third part is the comparison of the main features of the three language structures under the Uyghur-Chinese-English environment,the analysis of the language transfer in Uygur students'English learning,the English teaching and learning in Kashgar,the Psychological Mechanism of English Learning of Uyghur students under trilingual environment.The fourth part is the experimental part,which presets the concrete analysis and the data through the questionnaire survey.The fifth part is the conclusion and enlightenment,which summarizes the problems of middle school students' English learning in Kashgar region and puts forward some opinions for solutions and suggestions.Finally,it concludes this study.
