Sports industry as a sunrise industry in today's society the most dynamic and potential,has incomparable advantages of other industries,and the sports industry as the core of sports events,is no longer confined to pure athletic,a successful sporting events with strong social influence,not only can improve the public sense of participation in physical exercise so,to meet the psychological needs of people;also can strongly promote the development of sports industry,brings new opportunities for the development of various industries in the region.But in recent years the city's sports industry has developed rapidly,and a large variety of competitions have been held in Linyi,it brings opportunities for the development of local sports events.At present,the influence of the existing sports events in Linyi is not enough,and there are still many problems in the process of the development of the local original events.Linyi city to create great influence and appeal of the brand competition,we must firmly grasp the characteristics of sports events,making full use of the advantages of local landscape resources,actively introducing and cultivating the international well-known sports event.This paper aims to explore the actual situation of Linyi city sports events in the course of the development of Linyi city sports brand cultivation were studied,and using the method of SWOT analysis,analysis of sports events held in Linyi city in the process of cultivating a brand of advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and challenges,seek to make up for lack of brand building and its sports related research in the event,I hope to meet in Linyi city sports brand long-term development needs.This paper uses the method of literature,expert interviews,logical analysis,several research methods of SWOT analysis,mainly through the development of the brand of Linyi city sports events of the following parts cultivation problem discussion and analysis:First,based on the related theories of sports events and brand management as the theoretical basis of the concept and theory in this paper review,introduced the generalsituation,the development of Linyi sports market development model and resource development etc..Secondly,by using the SWOT analysis on the development status of sports events in Linyi are analyzed,the problems of Linyi city sports brand development process,and put forward the future in Linyi city sports brand development strategy.Thirdly,during the development of sports events in Linyi,the lack of relevant personnel in sports management,the lack of scientific research strength to support the integration and allocation of industrial resources,the lack of publicity and resource development efforts,and so on.Linyi city in the future to achieve sports brand cultivation and construction,must improve the management and operation mechanism of sports events,strengthen the cooperation with the current mainstream media cooperation,to create new events gradually began marketing and publicity platform etc..
