College Education's Impacts On Students' Social Responsibilities

The Ministry of Education once stated that we should focus on improving the quality of education,attach more attention to moral education in 2016.How to improve university education,and cultivate all-round development of talent has been the main responsibility of university education.Through attending the university,students could not only get the basic professional knowledge,but also to be a smart person with strong sense of social responsibility.But now,the present situation about students' responsibilities is unsatisfied.The entire society groups generally considered that the contemporary college students are short of responsibility,and they could not take on the responsibilities.There has been thousands of scholars at home and abroad are researching on the responsibilities.However,most of the researches are still being at the stage of the description and the theory,which lacked enough data to support,as well as student development stage and characteristics binding.Based on the theoretical relationship between the individual and society,freedom and responsibility from Marx,plus civic education theory,we take the way of questionnaire through qualitative and quantitative.We take five different types of colleges and universities,1021 undergraduates in total,as the objects of study.Furthermore,we add the interview with counselors,which last about 30mins per person,in order to know more about students'responsibilities in the perspective of teachers.Based on students' awareness of social responsibility,we compared the students'responsibilities score under different situations and analyze their influence pathway,confirm the students' question.Meanwhile,we'd like to explore the way to improve the students'responsibilities through the research on classroom teaching,practice and campus culture.Through analyzing the survey data and we found that:(1)Students think that social responsibility a kind of mentality,namely responsible of everyone.Meanwhile,all the students are take the social responsibility;(2)During different phases,different organizations take roles.In early stage,family education plays an important role in the process of planting students.And parents and teachers come to be the dominant factor later;(3)The influence of curriculum to improve students' responsibilities is not obvious,and the way for curriculum to cultivate students' responsibilities needs to be improved;(4)Most of the students got improved about their social responsibilities after having received the college education,but there are still a small number of students are in a state of decline.To solve these problems,combining with the characteristics of the student questionnaire and social responsibility,we suggest that we can take measures through the following kinds:(1)To strengthen the policy,and build the Trinity mode,which needs the efforts from parents,schools and students;(2)To encourage students to participate in practical activities,diversified the practical activities,and achieve a good transition from theory to practice;(3)To strength positive interaction between students,encourage our teachers to set an example for students,and create a good campus culture and guide students in a positive way;(4)To implement the network-related regulations,standardize online speech,attach more attention to the education about the network education and moral n,so that we could enhance students' adverse opinion immunity;(5)Improve the course teaching mode,and popularize the content and the necessary of responsibility.
