Research On The Personalized Learner Model Of Modern Distance Education

At present,the personalized learning supported by big data has become a research hotspot in the field of education.The research on the personalized learning system is the embodiment of the application of artificial intelligence in the field of education.And this research involves many fields,such as pedagogy,computer science and cognitive science,and so on.We often ignored the differences of learners on the traditional distance education,so learners encountered problems,as cognitive overload,learning without direction,which affected the learning effect to a great extent,leaded to the learning experience poor.Thereby,it affected the development of distance education.Personalized learning,which centers on learners,and aims at improving learners' learning efficiency and improving learners' learning experience,is also expected to be a feasible way to change the present situation of modern distance education.Along with learning analysis technology,data mining,visualization technology and other advanced data technology gradually mature,it provides the realization of personalized learning an opportunity to achieve.Personalized learning system commonly includes three aspects of learner model,domain knowledge base and management module.The learner model is the learners' abstract representation in the personalized learning system,and represents that system knows about learners.It is a core component of the personalized learning system.According individual differences in learning,it will record characteristics of learners,in order to provide a basis for personalized learning service system to make decision.Therefore,by researching literature,this study combed the current situation of the development of modern distance education and the application status of big data technology,which provided the research background for the related research of personalized learning;this study defined the concept of learners and learning characteristics in modern distance education,and summed up the relevant theoretical basis of personalized learning,the research status of personalized learning,personalized learning system and personalized learning model,which provided a theoretical basis and research direction for the design of personalized learning system and the construction of personalized learner model.Then,this study designed a personalized learning system on modern distance education.The system made personalized learning model as the core,which also included domain knowledge base,personalized service module and feedback module operation.This study analyzed the typical learners' characteristics,and gave the questionnaires to managers and subject teachers,which ensured the factors of the system of personalized learners' characteristics.In addition,this article established a personalized learning model based on learners' characteristics.Under learners' characteristics system containing four basic elements of individual attributes,cognitive ability,learning style and learning attitude,the model has a basic layer-data layer,a main function module-logic analysis layer,a final target layer-application layer,which provides personalized learning services for learners.In the realizing part,the author chose the network education platform of the school of continuing education and network education in Jiangnan University as the implementation environment of the model.Initializing two static attribute of the learners' characteristics-individual attributes and learning styles,can achieve model's initialization.The initialization of the individual attributes used the method of registering learners' information,and learning style is initialized by using investigation table of Kolb's learning style.In order to realize the dynamic updating of the model,the two dynamic attributes of the learners' cognitive ability and learning attitude are updated,and then explore the application of the personalized learner model on the modern distance education.This study used big data technology fully to tap the learning system in the useful information related to learners.It was a kind of attempt and exploration.Research and application of personalized learner model in modern distance education,can be used as the basis for follow-up study to achieve a comprehensive,intelligent learning system.It can provide reference for the study of personalized learning and modern distance education.
