Understanding the nature of science is an important aspect of developing scientific literacy,and it is an important goal of science education,the understanding of students to the nature of science can also influence their scientific attitudes and the way of learning.Students 'understanding of the nature of science can be reformed and perfected by teachers' intentional science teaching and essential education,Therefore,the way of teaching has great significance to understand and develop the scientific nature of students.This article first combs the research present situation of nature of science,combing its meaning from the development of the nature of science,Including scientific knowledge is tentative,scientific knowledge is based on experience,the creative and imaginative nature of scientific knowledge,scientific knowledge rooted in the social and cultural background,observation,inference and theoretical essence,scientific theory and law Function and the relationship,scientific knowledge is loaded on the theory.Put forward the strategy to promote the understanding of the nature of science,create effective learning situations,apply the history,organize effective scientific inquiry activities,give the opportunity to apply scientific knowledge,and guide students to have a full reflection.And the article analyze the studies about the history of the law of conservation of mass,combs the nature of science of its existence,and carries on the teaching design based on the essence of science.The chapter of Practicing,this article draws on the VNOS and VANSK questionnaire to get the survey tool to measure the scientific nature of the students and the knowledge of the law of mass conservation knowledge itself.Getting some conclusions that students have different degrees of understanding in the different aspects of the nature of science,it has a better understanding in the tentative,empirical,and scientific research requiring better imagination and creativity.Also,students have a lower understanding in the relationship between scientific theory and law,social culture,observational accompanied by theory.Carrying out the teaching practice based on the nature of science,we get some conclusions through the posterior questionnaires,After studying based on the nature of science,the students' understanding about theory and law,observation accompanied by theory and social culture has been improved.And finally get reflection through the results of the survey,to improve students' understanding in the nature of science.Teachers should have a better understanding in the nature of science.And to pay attention to the process of the emergence of scientific knowledge,mining contains the essence of science in-depth,teaching gradually to explain and improving the understanding in the nature of science.
