The new curriculum reform is being carried out like a raging fire.Morality education and cultivating core competence of the whole nation has been raised to a new height.Lifelong learning plays an important role in cultivating the core quality.The five pillars of lifelong learning are learning to seek knowledge,to do things,to live together,to develop,and to change.Learning to live together is an important part of the five pillars.Nowadays,"emotional intelligence","soft skills","interpersonal skills" or "positive behavior",are known as the necessary skills in the 21 st century.The students should practice and intensify these skills through cooperative learning in their adolescence.The core competence of Chinese students’ development says there are six essential parts which students must have: the inherent human qualities,scientific spirit,learning to acquire knowledge,living a healthy life,a sense of responsibility,practice and innovation.At the same time,the classroom teaching in our country must also carry on the corresponding reform.It is necessary to change the traditional teaching mode of teaching and learning,which is popular for many years.That is,teachers spend a lot of time instructing their students while the students are learning without taking an active part in the whole process.A multiple teaching mode should be built.The teacher’s teaching should be based on Students.Group cooperative learning mode is a typical teaching pattern.This research is based on previous research on cooperative learning,which is combined with Cooperative Learning Theory,The System Theory,Constructivism Theory,Demand Theory and Situated Learning Theory.The practice of cooperative learning is studied and discussed in detail,especially in the group cooperative learning.The research put forward some own views about the concept of "1+2+1" mode of learning,the construction and evaluation of groups.In the definition of the "1+2+1" mode,the formation of the team should be under the guidance of teachers,and should be based on the academic achievements and attitudes,characteristics,the family background of the students.Every class will be divided into a group of four students.The concrete principle of group construction is "group heterogeneity","homogeneity between groups","harmonious resonance".The evaluation mechanism of "1+2+1" cooperative learning mode should include the self-evaluation and group evaluation,teacher’s evaluation and peer evaluation,process evaluation and result evaluation,integral evaluation and descriptive evaluation.The basic course of the mode include preview before class,scene creation,problem confirming,task allocation,independent study to cooperative research,communication of results,classroom assessment.Finally,in the education experiment,the study confirms that “1+2+1cooperative learning” model compared with the traditional teaching mode,has played a large role in enhancing students’ academic achievement,stimulating students’ interest in learning geography course and promoting students’ key competence.The study provides some suggestions on the "1+2+1 cooperative learning" in the geography class of high school,such as group division,team building,team evaluation and so on.It is suitable for being adopted widely.
