A Study On The Optimization Of The Undergraduate Course Of Biotechnology In Military Medical University

Biotechnology is widely used in medicine,agriculture,chemical industry and some other areas now.Biotechnology has a profound and far-reaching impact on human society and life.It can promote the modern economy because of Biotechnology has become a part of the high and new technology in the new century.Biotechnology is one of the key technologies to enhance the economic strength,and it is also a powerful embodiment of national innovation ability and national defense.The demand for biotechnology professionals is increasing.There are some outstanding problems in the cultivation of biotechnology talents in our country,Such as the total shortage of talent and the relative surplus,the lack of top talent and innovative talent,the brain drain is serious,etc.In 1998,the biotechnology major was formally included in the Ministry of Education specialty directory of China.The biotechnology major belongs to the biological sciences category under the physical sciences.The establishment of the major aims to adapt to the needs of training biological talents in applied research,in order to serve the rapid development of China's emerging biotechnology industry needs.At present,our country's biotechnology major is mainly set in Comprehensive University and College of agriculture.Different types of universities and colleges established their own professional curriculum system according to their actual situation,subject characteristics and in line with the general framework of the Ministry of education.However,due to the time of setting the biotechnology major is short,some universities and colleges still have some problems,such as the specialty is not outstanding,the subject position is not accurate,the training target is not clear,the curriculum is not scientific and so on.In 2005,the Third Military Medical university set up a biotechnology specialty,the talent training target positioning in the training of biotechnology talents who adapt the military reform with Chinese characteristics,meet the needs of the future wars and human health.With he increasing demand and the application of biotechnology of the national defense fields,we provide more professional positions for graduates.How to further improve the quality of training is the current problem what need to be studied.So we need to optimize the current curriculum.ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to contrast the experience of talent trainings of biotechnology specialties from domestic and foreign university and college,then according to the social demand for medical biotechnology talents,combined with the subject characteristics and teaching practice in military medical university,the integrated using of comparative research,questionnaire,statistical analysis and other research methods,set up to optimize the current course of biotechnology professional settings,forming a set of scientific and reasonable biological technology in Military Medical University of professional courses,in order to improve the training to provide support and reference quality.MethodsUsing literature review,questionnaire and other research methods,on how to optimize the biotechnology curriculum system was studied.Results and conclusions1.The optimization scheme was formed on the basis of the current curriculum system of biotechnology.2.The optimization scheme was evaluated by consulting experts,the optimized scheme was scientific and feasible.
