| To improve students’ innovative ability and practical ability,the new round of curriculum reform has enhanced the status of experiment teaching.Our government invests more and more money into experiment teaching,most of the middle schools have been equipped with technology laboratories,thus making the laboratory equipment nearly perfect in basic education stage.The middle school stage is a critical period to cultivate students’ innovative ability,but in real experiment teaching,due to many kinds of reasons,the teaching functions of technology laboratories haven’t been brought into play,thus making the cultivation of students’ innovative ability miss the best time.At the same time,the rapid development of digital technology has set off a wave of maker movement.The field of education is no exception,maker education came into being.Under the call of "public entrepreneurship and innovation" issued by Premier Li Keqiang,all walks of life are in the pursuit of innovation.A new form of education---maker education which is to cultivate students’ ability,has become a possible education path.This paper put forward the new ideas of cultivating students’ ability and maximizing the teaching function of technology laboratory under the guidance of the modern educational technology and maker education,constructed a teaching model for technology laboratory courses of junior middle school,and hoped to provide some reference and advice for front-line teachers.Literature research,questionnaire survey,teaching experiment,action research,interview and other methods have been adopted in this research.First of all,through the review and analysis of relevant literature at home and abroad,this paper summarized the research status about maker education and innovative ability,interpreted what the maker education involved,analyzed the meaning of the technology laboratory,innovative ability and its elements,designed its evaluation system and students’ evaluation questionnaire.Secondly,this paper analyzed the five elements of teaching model based on maker education according to general teaching model,then followed the construction principles and finished the constructing work of the model.Finally,the author conducted an experiment in Qinhuangdao Economic and Technological Development Zone No.1 middle school to apply the model into practice.With the help of the evaluation of innovative ability questionnaire and teachers’ interview,the author checked the rationality and validity of the teaching procedures on students’ innovative ability cultivation.The results showed that the model might be suitable for technology laboratory teaching and could effectively enhance students’ innovative ability. |
