A Research Of Popularizing The Marxism By Utilizing Campus Culture Of University

In order to deal with the ideological chaos some people enmeshed in and occupy the ideological sphere of people,the CPC Central Committee attaches great importance to propagating the theory of Marxism.Meanwhile,report to the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasized that we should continue to adapt Marxism to China's conditions in keeping up with the times and increase its appeal to the people,work hard to equip the whole Party with the system of theories of socialism with Chinese characteristics and educate the people in these theories.Universities,as an important platform for cultivating the future socialist builders,are obliged to promote the popularization of Marxism.Universities,however,can not adapt to current needs of popularization of Marxism by using traditional methods of ideological and political education.For this reason,universities must utilize campus culture of university to advance popularization of Marxism more effectively.On the basis of a host of document literatures,this paper introduces definition of campus culture through field research,questionnaire survey and interview and analyzes the relationship between campus culture and popularization of Marxism.By investigating the current situation of the popularization of Marxism advanced by campus culture of university,author Summarize the existing problems and analyze what result in them.Based on the problems and their causes,the author offers some strategies to utilize campus culture to popularize Marxism.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part mainly explains the why this research be conducted,clarifies the purpose and significance of the research,and introduces the research ideas and methods.The second part mainly discusses the definition of campus culture and the popularization of Marxism and the relationship between them.Firstly,the paper argues that the popularization of Marxism includes making the Marxism win the approval of people.Secondly,the paper argues that campus culture and the popularization of Marxism can promote each other.On the one hand,the Marxism gives directions to construction of campus culture,on the other hand,campus culture put positive effects on propagating the Marxism.Lastly,the paper argues that platform of campus culture is a good entry point for conducting this research.The third part introduces the situation of utilizing campus culture platform to promote the popularization of Marxism,points out the main problems and analyzes what cause the problems.By investigating the current situation of the popularization of Marxism advanced by campus culture of university author argue that on the one hand universities have realized the positive effect of campus culture on promoting the popularization of Marxism and adopted the corresponding measures,on the other hand it also has some problems consisting in campus culture carriers like classroom,dormitory culture,social practice,The tutorial class of training project for young Marxists,campus media,student organization and campus activities.The author argues that these problems are primarily resulted from four causes including incorrect ideals,imperfect mechanism,lack of spirit of university.The fourth part,based on analyzing existing problems and their causes,formulates the strategies for promoting the popularization of Marxism by utilizing campus culture.The paper argues that in order to resolve these problems universities must construct correct concept,mechanisms and improve spirit of university.On this basis,the author puts forward some strategies of improving the existing problems of campus culture carriers including reforming political and professional courses,cultivating heatlthy dormitory culture,carrying out various social practice,attaching importance to Young Marx doctrine training project,foundering lively campus media,constructing responsible student organization,developing elegant campus activities.
