Family culture refers to the sum of all types of factors created by the family members through social practice,including their own values,ideologies and cultural standards.It is an organic unity of family material culture,ethical culture and conceptual culture.In the background to the education reform of the Chinese language,developing children's literacy of the Chinese language has become the focus of the field of current Chinese education.Although the school education plays an irreplaceable role in developing children's literacy of the Chinese language,the family,as children's lifetime school,has the same responsibility for developing children's literacy of the Chinese language,including the influence on children's Chinese language ability of listening,speaking,reading and writing as well as the influence on their humanistic accomplishment like aesthetic,emotion and morality.Therefore,family culture can be considered an irreplaceable resource treasure of the Chinese language education.Whether the resources are material or spiritual,modern families have richer resources making a different to children's literacy of the Chinese language.Therefore,exploring the resources of Chinese language education in family culture,to effectively combine family culture and the Chinese language education,is the key to developing children's literacy of the Chinese language.The paper is deeply analyzed on "values of the Chinese language education in family culture","the current situation of family culture and the Chinese language education" and "the strategy of effective combination between family culture and the Chinese language education".It consists of three parts:Part One is about the two features of the Chinese language---"instrumentality" and"humanities",aiming to explore the values of the Chinese language education in family culture.Instrumentality refers to the influence of family culture on children's ability of the Chinese language knowledge,namely the influence of family culture on children's oral communication ability,reading ability and writing ability.Humanities means the influence of family culture on children's personality cultivation,including the function of aesthetic education,emotion education and moral education.Part Two is analyzing the current situation of family culture and the Chinese language education.The decline of family culture and the family Chinese language education suggests that parents don't value the Chinese language education,lack of humanities of the family Chinese language education and the biased way of family education;the disagreement of family culture and the school Chinese language education is the deviation of teachers' concept,not valuing how to develop the resources of family culture,teachers' professionalism and their ability to develop the resources of family culture.Part Three is based on the two parts above,from the perspective of both parents and teachers to effectively combine them.Parents' strategies include the concept of the family Chinese language education,the development of parents' own qualities,the creation of the environment of the family Chinese language education and carrying out the activities of the family Chinese language education.Teachers,strategies include strengthening lifelong learning,communicating closely with parents and allowing parents to participate in the classroom teaching.
