The intelligent solution system has been an important research topic in the computer science field for several decades. The machine problem solving of the mathematical problem is also a challenging research direction in the intelligent education information system research. The primary school mathematics application problem has become a good object because of its relatively simple topic organization language and logic to the problem solving problem. At present, the research on the machine problem solving of primary school mathematics application has made great achievements in domestic and foreign scholars, but there are still many problems that need further study. For example,the current machine problem-solving framework is still less, there are many types of problems can not be machine solved; general problem-solving framework for the extraction and construction has no specific general standards, theory or method; for natural language description of the title machine Capacity is still insufficient; therefore, further in-depth study of primary school mathematics application problem understanding of the key technology is very necessary.The research group proposed a semantic model for the understanding of the problem,the theory is that through the semantic model to extract a numerical relationship of the word problem, the machine through the numerical relationship group to achieve the solution. That is the subject of the machine to understand the process. Based on this theory, this study aims to study the semantic model or semantic model pool of the evaluation criteria, extraction methods and strategies, and extract a set of primary school mathematics application of semantic model pool, then test the effectiveness of the method theory and adaptability. The semantic model is a triad, which includes the keywords; the relationship; the mapping, the machine through which the ternary can generate the equation of "understanding the meaning of the sentence.The main content of this paper is divided into the following three aspects: First, the semantic model based on the relationship between the number of extraction and subject understanding method. Second, the semantic model of the construction methods and analysis, and examples of several typical semantic model extraction and analysis.Thirdly, we collect a certain number of practical applications of primary school mathematics. According to the proposed method, we extract a set of semantic model pool and test the actual effect of the semantic model to extract the quantitative relationship, summarize the existing problems, get some suggestions for further improvement.
