| The development of information technology in education has reformed traditional teaching methods.According to the present multimedia-assisted teaching technology,its effectiveness has been widely studied and applied;however,teaching Chinese in Thailand,some teachers prefer to use the traditional teaching methods,overt the usability of multimedia or other supporting modern educational technologies.In this study,the use of a developed computer program based human learning theories for learning Chinese directional grammar and vocabularies was studied.To compare with the traditional Chinese directional complement teaching,an experimental study with a control group was designed to explore its effectiveness among Thai students.The present study had been framed based on Thai students’problem in learning Chinese complement.Complement especially direction in Chinese is complicated and difficult to understand for the Thai student beginners.Although Thai language shares some grammatically similar parts with directional positioning in sentence,confusing part can be seriously occurring to make students’ difficulty to learn this topic when they translate contrastingly into Thai.Moreover,Chinese language environment is a illiterate learning factor in the country.According to the current researches on learning technologies,the modern technologies can be useful for students to understand Chinese directional complement better than using the traditional teaching methods using in the classroom nowadays.The author believed that the use of multimedia assisted teaching could make Thai students better in learning Chinese complement,stimulating students’interest and improving the efficiency of students.In the present study,the concepts had been framed to explore the relationship between the multimedia with teaching awareness,starting from the Thai-Chinese multimedia teaching,to observe the Chinese complement Learning Assisted by the modern educational technology among senior high school students in Bangkok Maria school(Phramaemaree Sathupradit school),Thailand as the research objective.In this experimental study on multimedia assisted learning on Chinese complement,comparative descriptive statistic was described from questionnaire and investigation in both experimental and control rooms.The author expected that the alternative multimedia teaching method as the intervention in the experimental room could play the greater role and improve the efficiency of students’ learning.Furthermore,adapting of the multimedia using in Chinese teaching could address students’ efficiency,save the learning time,increase teaching creativity and make students’ improving usefulness in various aspects.The highlighting results from the analyzed data have shown and confirmed that the application of modern educational technology in teaching directional complement including related auxiliary are effective among Thai high school students;however,this benefit of the designed and developed multimedia technology could be improved and referenced for more advantages in the future study. |
