| The Fourth Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party have passed " Decisions Made on Fully Advancing China's law-based governance by The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China ",which put forward the strategy of governing the country by law in all respects.Comprehensively carrying out the rule of law is an important part of the Four-Pronged Comprehensive Strategy initiated by central leading body of the party with comrade Xi Jinping as the core.We will comprehensively advance ruling the country in accordance with the law and implement "scientific legislation,strict law enforcement,judicial justice,and abidance by the law of people" to improve China's legal construction another level.As a national elite and a pillar of society,college students play a significant role in advancing the courses of comprehensive law-based governance.With the background of comprehensive governing the country according to law,we need to accurately judge the current situation of college students' education of legal system in our country,analyze the achievements and the shortcomings of the legal education and research the new opportunities and challenges the law-based governance brought.At the same time,we need to come up with measures to tackle these new opportunities and challenges and it will have both deeply theoretical and pragmatic meaning impact on improving the law education to college students.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction of the selected topic background and meaning of the research.Meanwhile,it presents the related research have been made at home and abroad,the research ideas,and research methods,as well as the innovative points of this article and the deficiencies.The second part is the conceptual definition and the theoretical basis of this paper.The basic concepts involved in this article include "law-based governance","legal system","rule of law",and "college students law education" etc.On the other hand,"The legal system education of marxism theory","human needs theory" and "people-oriented" theory laid a theoretical foundation for the research of this paper.The third part reviews the development and achievements of the college students' education of legal system in our country since the reform and opening up,and analyzes the new value orientation brought by law-based governance strategy.Since the reform and opening up,our college students education of legal system develop from scratch and scattered to systematic nowadays have gained worldwide attention which plays a significant role in the establishment of ruling by law in China.However,the promotion of law-based governance raises brand new requirements for the collegelaw education.Students are increasingly eager to have access to the law education and society are supposed to focus more on the authority of the law education.The fourth part discusses the new challenges faced by university students legal system education under the background of law-based governance.First,the social environment in our country can not completely adapt to the new situation of the unlegal system education.Second,the status of the universities' legal system education is unable to meet the new requirements of law-based governance.Third,there is still a wide gap between the awareness,knowledge,and thought of law,as well as the ability of abiding the law and the fully implementation of law-based governance.All these challenges come from society,school and students themselves.The fifth part provides the Suggestions for improving the legal system education under the background of law-based governance.According to the new requirements provided by the strategy of law-based governance and basing on current status of college students' education of legal system,the my paper poses several approaches measures,and strategies to optimize and improve the law education at the point of society,school and students respectively.It also presents a couple of pragmatic suggestions on the matter of advancing the college students legal education. |
