The biggest overall function of the leadership in universities and colleges depends on the structure state of the leadership.The formation of a reasonable structure of each college leadership team is a result of many factors.Among these team members there are differences on sex,age,knowledge,ability,and personality,and values,in addition,there are actually different development situation in different colleges and universities,and there are different requirements of college leadership structure in different times.Although the biggest overall functions of the leadership in universities and colleges depends on the structure state of the leadership,but there has not been a conclusion to the rationality standard of leadership structure,either in theory or in practice.For this purpose,in this study,analyzing the actual condition of college leadership structure based on the data survey,the analysis of ideal leadership structure situation will be conducted from the three perspective including the theoretical basis,policy requirements,and previous studies,based which,there will come to the countermeasures and suggestions to the structural adjustment of university leadership.With the basic and personal information of the school leadership,obtained from each college's official website,a structural analysis and comparison of school leadership in colleges and universities can be conducted.There are following structural features: the overall structure and present "spindle";and the communist party members and cadres with shortage of women;a large percentage of highly educated cadres;Institute of professional cadres than other class cadre;an unequal native distribution.Based on the theory and policy,there comes to the aim of university leadership,that is echelon equipped with age,and to the younger trend.Reasonable gender and party collocation,there should be a balance between men and women,cadres inside and outside the party.Dynamic reviewing of academic credentials,combined with experience and potential.Combination of various and representative disciplines.And the last but not least,balanced regional combination.Leadership structure of colleges and universities in our country "reality" and "ought to" pursue,the existence of a larger gap between "reality" to "ought to" approach should be equipped with the principle of clarity,backup team management,dynamic,long-term mechanism to establish the aspects such as structure adjustment.
