The motto is a comprehensive reflection of the university education idea and the goal of running a school.It is the concise and crystallization of the university spirit,which represents the development direction and value orientation of the university,and the inherent stipulation of the university education to cultivate what kind of person’s problem.Therefore,the university school motto enhance the effect of moral education in colleges and universities.The first part of the article is mainly the basic research of college motto.On the basis of the role of school motto in college students’ moral education,we must first have a systematic and comprehensive understanding of school motto.On the basis of the comprehensive application of literature analysis and comparative research,this part is based on the emergence and development of school motto in colleges and universities.It is found that the school motto has "concise refining","rich ideological
