In the context of teacher professionalism,how to guide the transition from traditional teachers' morality to teachers' professional ethics has become a crucial issue that concerns the whole and prospect of teacher team construction.In Ontario,noticeable successes have been achieved by establishing the actual teacher profession'self-governance body(OCT),developing the province-unified Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession,and forming the unique methodology of Ethical Standards construction and implementation.Ontario's experience and practice can be used for reference for China to improve the construction of teachers' morality professionally and holistically.As tool of self-discipline for the teacher profession,the Ontario's current Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession just as the "spokes" of teacher profession,which exerts the value leading function,with no prohibitions and specific requirement,the Ethical Standards leads to the self-discipline of teacher group that just as the "hub" of teacher profession,in which the centripetal force of professional community sharing responsibility lies.From the contents and function perspective,it's necessary to draw a distinction between Ethical Standards and Standards of Practice themselves so as to foreground the attributes of ethics,and to put the core Ethical Standards in the unified discourse and system so as to both analyze the language of morals and grasp the spiritual essence.The main contents include:Firstly,the study reviews the domestic and international literature related to the construction of teachers' morality.The method of organizational discourse analysis is focused.The related concepts such as ethical standards for the teaching profession and construction of teachers' professional ethics are defined and explained.Secondly,the study investigates and analyzes the development and implementation of Ontario's Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession.Reveals:in Ontario's profession of teachers,there is a gradually clear guiding idea of generating text contents,the dialogic construction,inspection procedures and methods of text contents,which are in line with the research on ethical issues,and helpful to the improvement of identity in and out of the field;underlining the attributes of ethics and function of value guidance of the text itself is the reason of amendment,the focus of amendment is transformed into the perfect of supporting execution system,in order to make up for the lack of specific guidance and restraint function of the Ethical Standards itself.From the two aspects of teacher education and teacher accountability,the self management system which is Ethical Standards-oriented,and which makes up for the lack of educational,evaluating,supervising,accountable and disciplinary function,is elaborated.Thirdly,the study extracts the characteristics of the construction of Ontario's Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession.The three characteristics are:taking the teacher ethical community as the support subject,taking "ethical practice is the core of teacher profession or professionalization" as the basic idea,and taking the distinction between standards of professional ethics and professional code of conduct as the main principle.Fourthly,the study explores the enlightenment of Ontario's experience to the construction of professionalization and institutionalization of Chinese teachers'ethics.The specific measures include:constructing teachers' professional ethics in dialogues,distilling core moral concepts of teacher profession,developing theme-based and inquiry-based learning resources of teachers' morality,and establishing teachers'morality management system of "active ethical accountability".
