With the urbanization expands and accelerates, more and more ethnic minorities have been leaving their traditional settlements and migrant to cities for their own business or working. They get there better jobs, higher incomes and better education for children.Meanwhile, the conflicts in different culture, thinking and other aspects also lead to a lot of discomfort in places that can't adapt and confusion in life and career development. Therefore,it requires a combination of government, society and individuals to integrate the minority population to adapt to urbanization. The study analyzes based on Huazangsi Town of Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County,by questionnaires and personal interviews. The author tried to study on how the Tibetans in Huazangsi adapted into urbanization as well as their current status and problem with it through adaption of production, living, culture, phycology, etc. The Tibetans moved to the town within the same county, where they were familiar with. What's more, the development of Huazangsi Town has not beyond their awareness.Together with the long history of culture exchanges among different groups due to its superior geographical location, the previous solid Tibetan cultural structure was shattered and willing to accept and assimilate. Therefore, they are likely to be easily satisfied with current status, more adjusted into the urban development. But their confusion on positioning of their culture, language and themselves became the biggest problem. The use of Tibetan language in the town is extremely low and their traditional cultural customs has changed dramatically.Tibetans are deeply worried about their language and culture but helpless.Besides, with living in the town for years,it becomes vague for one to define himself as a city dweller or rural person. The loyalty gets quite weak. With the phenomena above, the author tried to analyze and figure out the root of these problems, proposed a corresponding response from the governmental support, social tolerance, individual spontaneity, etc.hoping that brings some credible theoretical support and realistic templates for a better adaptation of the urban life for minority population.
