| Because of the imperfection of the system of public institutions as well as the teacher shortage in today’s China,it is increasingly common for schools,especially primary and secondary schools,to recruit teachers through signing contracts.Such teachers are called hired teachers or contract teachers.Compared with non-contractual teachers,hired teachers are being put in disadvantage in terms of equal treatment in promotion and training.Through the research on some hired teachers of primary and secondary schools in Zhanjiang city,the thesis holds that hired teacher’s rights and interests should be protected based on the policy of equal pay for equal job.Thesis consists of six chapters.The first chapter mainly analyzes the research background.Some points of view about hired teachers of primary and secondary Schools in China are put forward.The relevant literature review,research methods,thesis contents and research expectation are included.The second chapter defines basic concepts,analyzes some theories,and discusses the causes and the problem related to teacher recruitment in China.The third chapter introduces teacher’ rights protection in the primary and middle schools of some foreign countries,which are expected to be used as reference for teacher recruitment in China.The fourth chapter analyzes implementation of rights and interests protection of hired teachers in primary and secondary schools in Zhanjiang City by carrying out social survey.The fifth chapter proposed some solutions to protect the rights and interests of hired teachers.The sixth chapter includes a summary of the thesis and the author’s expectations about rights and interests protection of the hired teachers. |
