Most of junior high school students in reading comprehension learning revealed that the comprehensive ability of text comprehension is poor,and the student oriented education and lack of status quo about the accumulation of Chinese,although there are classes,classes,but the reader should think from classroom teaching to improve the conventional key problems.This thesis adopts the "PAD(presentation,assimilation and discussion)Teaching" model proposed by Xuexin Zhang,and discusses the effect of PAD teaching of the junior high school English reading teaching,especially the origin and development of Zhang Xuexin’s research on PAD teaching and summarizes the operational experience and methods.Then,this thesis uses the experimental,and interview methods to carry out research from three aspects of the performance after PAD,improving the abilities of students and teachers after PAD and the influencing factors on the efficiency.The thesis will try to ensure the scientific and strict research results with verifiable data and firsthand resource.As shown by the T test on the academic performance of the two classes in the further research,the mode of PAD class can gradually improve the reading comprehension of most students.According to the analysis of scale chi-square test on the abilities of the students in two classes,the PAD class can improve those students’ ability for reading analysis,comprehension and cooperative learning,especially the latter two.By means of controlling variable research,three factors influencing the effect of PAD class have been researched.The chi-square test has indicated that the Compared with the PAD class in the same classroom,the class between two classes is better suited to the teaching of English reading in middle school.The involvement of those students should be internalized before discussion.Compared with the discussion before being assimilated,it has the advantages of comprehending and integrating the materials.In short,the PAD class can not only gradually improve the reading comprehension among those students but also enhance their abilities to analyze the reading material,expand the interest in the reading and enlarge the reading scope.Finally,based on the research results,this thesis proposes possible measures for the effective PAD class so as to facilitate the teaching reform in the PAD class.
