With the rapid economic and social development,China has become the world’s most elderly population,the population aging one of the fastest.In 2003,Jilin Province also entered the ranks of the elderly population of the population.In recent years,the total number of elderly people in Jilin Province continued to increase,the proportion increased,and the population aging process gradually accelerated.With the acceleration of the aging process,a series of social problems have been brought about,such as the increase of the old-age burden,the shortage of labor,the social welfare crisis and the old-age security needs of the elderly,and so on.The employment of the elderly is to cope with the aging of the population of the important way.Based on the actual situation of the employment of the elderly in Jilin Province,this paper analyzes the current situation,characteristics,influencing factors,outstanding problems and corresponding countermeasures of the employment of the elderly in Jilin Province.The full text is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction part,the background and significance of this study,research methods and ideas,research innovation and shortcomings are introduced.The second chapter is the theoretical and literature review section,clarify the concept of population aging,employment,employment of the elderly and the population of economic activities,the Maslow demand hierarchy theory,human resources theory and employment theory in-depth analysis,Later research laid the theoretical foundation.At the same time,the main scholars at home and abroad on the aging of the population,the employment of the elderly and its influencing factors such as the review of the situation,the study of this article also has important guiding significance.The third chapter is the analysis of the employment situation of the elderly in Jilin Province.First,the characteristics of the elderly population in Jilin Province are described,and then the employment status and characteristics of the elderly in Jilin Province are analyzed.Jilin Province,the elderly population has a rapid increase in the number and proportion,urban and rural areas are higher and the pension burden and other development characteristics,but also has the majority of the elderly and family members living together,the main source of life for the pension and family members to support and Good health and other characteristics of life.And according to the actual data from the basic situation,income level,education level,labor intensity,occupational distribution,unemployment reasons,provincial comparison and other aspects of the elderly in Jilin Province employment status descriptive statistical analysis.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the influencing factors of the employment of the elderly in Jilin Province.The data of Jilin Province in the fourth survey of the living conditions of urban and rural areas in China were analyzed by binary logistic regression analysis from three aspects: personal characteristics,social characteristics and economic characteristics.The results showed that the employment status of the elderly in Jilin Province was affected by the gender,age,health status and educational level of the elderly,whether they had retired,and whether they had a pension money and the total income and total expenditure of the family.Chapter 5 is a summary,and based on this put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.There are some outstanding problems in the employment of the elderly in Jilin Province,such as lack of ideas,lack of government and social support,poor quality of old labor and inefficient use.In the future development process,Jilin Province to government-led,to strengthen the legal system,focus on employment for the elderly to establish a service platform;social-based,to encourage enterprises to innovate the elderly jobs and ways;to individuals as the main body,Comprehensive quality and so on to promote the employment of the elderly continued,healthy and rapid development.
