Chinese is a special group in foreign Chinese teaching,who as the carrier by two cultures.This text based on the research and analysis of the second generation Chinese learner in Quince Orchard High School,that think they have six characteristics as follow: Chinese is the learning subject in overseas;the second generation have the stronger motility in learning for their special identity;the most part of second generation are interested in Chinese culture;the main ways to learn Chinese for Chinese are relied to Chinese lesson and Chinese weekend school;Chinese pay more attention on listening and speaking as well as reading and writing course.the Chinese learning for American second generation of Chinese are depended on the calculator in great extent.But the deficiencies of second generation Chinese learning included three characteristics: the degree of cultural recognition is relatively low;the cultivation of listening,speaking,reading and writing are not equal that lead to their listening and speaking is superior than reading and writing;they are lacking of initiative and confidence in learning.And then,Chinese lesson in American high school has the following five characteristics: Chinese course has five parts of listening,reading,writing,culture learning,etc;course textbook is insteaded by PPT and some classroom teaching materials substitution by teachers;all of the Chinese teachers are Chinese,and most of them are the local overseas;American Chinese test involves cultural content;There are few students in American high schools who refer to the HSK Chinese Proficiency Test.However,the disadvantage of American high school in Chinese teaching included two characteristics: the culture teaching mode is single and boring,which will cut the overseas interesting for Chinese culture,so culture teaching is still as a vulnerable spot in Chinese overseas teaching;they don't use the uniform and formal textbook.The passage also discovered that without the overseas Chinese Affairs Commission prepared by the Jinan University Chinese series textbooks,most the other relative textbook in domestic can not willing to try.Therefore,this paper puts forward four suggestions for this situation: the diversification of culture teaching;strengthen the cultivation of reading,writing ability;follow the textbook of "localization" policy;according to the examination requirements,adjust teaching strategies...
