The development of teachers' education is the core of global teaching reform.With the deepening of the new curriculum reform in our country,the professional development of teachers has been paid more and more attention to.All levels of education and teaching departments have taken a variety of ways to teachers' professional guidance and training.However,the teachers' professional characteristics and the reality of the school show that it's difficult for most teachers to take a long time to leave their teaching positions for learning.Therefore,the learning model of the school-based training with peers' exchanges and helps provides the way and place for teachers' profession,which accelerates the growth of individual teachers and groups.Under the background of the above,this study takes high school English teachers of middle schools in Hanzhong city of southern Shaanxi as the research object,and it bases on the characteristics of senior high school English teachers to explore whether high school English teachers' learning community from school-based training improves teachers' developments and the quality of schools in the region.With the concepts of teachers' professional development from school-based training and the guidance of the theory of teachers' learning community,middle school English teachers' learning community is set up according to the actual situation of Hanzhong and the advantage of local university and middle school cooperation.With questionnaires,teacher interviews and literature research,firstly the relationship between the school-based study and the teachers' professional learning community is understood by collecting the relevant literature of teachers' school-based learning and school-based teachers' learning community,which theoretically demonstrated the feasibility and necessity of teachers' learning community from school-based training.According to the results of the professional development and the school-based training of three middle school English teachers in Hanzhong,then the paper analyzes the current situation of the development of English teachers,finds out the difficulties and problems of the school-based training and decides the practical way of English teachers' learning community.On this basis and with the aim of winning together,English teachers' learning community is built by the cooperation platform with the university and middle schools.The results of this study show that middle school English teachers' learningcommunity from school-based training has a positive effect on the professional development of secondary school English teachers in Hanzhong.English teachers are very satisfied with this new professional learning method.The study indicates that this model can stimulate teachers' enthusiasms and initiatives to study,which can improve the quality of English classroom teaching and give the examples for the professional development of English teachers in southern Shaanxi.
