The Research Of The Pushi Dragon Boat Festival Under The Perspective Of Anthropology

The dragon boat sport has a long history in our country.It has a high popularity as a treasure of Chinese folk sports culture,and it has different features in different places because of different nationalities,humanities,and geographical environment.Although the dragon boat sport is prevalent in many parts of our country and the world,the Pushi Dragon Boat Festival still has its own characteristics,including the game environment,competition rules,the difficulty of the challenge and other aspects.This paper uses field method,interviewing method and literature material method to study the Pushi Dragon Boat Festival and describe the dragon boat sport above the river surface,including the rafting environment,the division of player and the way of competition.In addition,I also focused on the reasons why the people of Pushi town can and need to participate in and revitalize the dragon boat festival,including participation and cost.I understand the Pushi Dragon Boat Festival has two characteristics that are the high cost of participation and participation in the same time,and these two characteristics are composed of a pair of contradictions.Generally,too high participation costs tend to inhibit participation,but the peopleof Pushi town want to participate in this festival no matter how high the cost would be.Consequently,the Pushi Dragon Boat Festival is not just a simple sport for those people of Pushi,but has a more profound meaning to them.Hence,I have repeatedly go to Pushi town to carry out field work,and then discusses what kind of social functions the Pushi Dragon Boat Festival has in this paper,so as to promote the people of Pushi town to participate in this festival.Finally,this paper also discusses the Pushi Dragon Boat Festival as a traditional festival in Pushi town is changing when it face the external stimulus in the course of today's development,and then the spiritual core of the this festival has been changed.The key of Pushi Dragon Boat Festival's development is to balance the relationship of their original manner and the external stimulus in future.
