| In 2014-2015 season N BA Finals,G olden State Warriors beat Cleveland Cavaliers badly with a score 4: 2 and won the championship;During 2015-2016 season,the Cavaliers comeback in the final and met the Warriors again,they won the opponent this time with a score 3: 1.These two teams are the NBA’s top luxury team,and th e study of t he two teams’ techniques and tactics can be a good way to see t he development trend of today’s basketball.It also provides some references to the CBA in the progress of learning from NBA.This paper takes the winning factors of the Cavaliers in NBA Finals during the 2015-2016 season as the research object,and makes detailed analysis and comparisons on the attack-and-defense tactics of the two teams by means of document method,video observation,comparative analysis,logical analysis and mathematical statistics,and draws the following conclusions:(1)Scoring ability: The two teams had significant differences on both three-point and two-point shots.Combined with the shooting point analyses,we can see that the two teams had significant variations on the short range two-point basket attacking.There were no significant differences in terms of free throw.So the basic winning factors of Cavaliers’ success were lying in their attacks inside the arc.(2)Offensive and defensive technology: First of all,the two teams acted differently when passing the ball.Secondly,there were no obvious differences in assisting,grabbing rebounds and stealing the ball.But the Warriors had some advantages in assisting,while the Cavalier acted better on the other two technologies.In addition,in terms of block shot,turnover,and fouls,there were little differences between the two teams.(3)Tactically,the offensive of the two teams used a lot of pick-and-roll tactics: the Warriors used such tactic to create shooting opportunities while the Cavaliers used this tactic to force opponents to change their defensive players,which in turn developed the strong side advantage.As for the defensive part,the Warriors’ was hit hard because of its physical weakness while the Cavaliers players were good at putting pressures on their opponents.So the offensive and defensive tactics were the core factors in Cavaliers’ successful reversal.(4)In the comparative analyses between the starting team and the substitutes,the Cavaliers’ starting team,especially the core players,was in good playing conditions;while the Warriors’ starting team,however,was in relatively poorer condition and not able to stay steady even in that condition all the more.As for the substitutes,Warriors behaved in the first half season,but failed to keep it that way in the following matches.Considering the players sitting on the bench in Cavaliers contributed little during the season,we might come to the conclusion that it was the sound and stead performance of starting team that helped Cavaliers most.(5)Coaches: Obviously,Cavaliers’ chief coach is aware of their pros and cons of both sides;at critical moment,he made decisive choices to change the rotation strategy,as a way to minimize unexpected risks.thus,the chief coach is also a key factor in the final victory.(6)Unexpected factors: In Warriors,Iguodala suffered injuries;at the key moment Green was banned to play;Bogut,the major defensive play got injured.All of the above factors led to the reversal and final victory of the Cavaliers. |
