Take a panoramic view of the new chemistry curriculum textbook.It has an accurate expression of knowledge and embodies the development of knowledge which is good for students to improve their abilities in the process of learning and the knowledge itself in textbook is extremely systematic and logical.Also,for the presentation formats,textbook is diverse and equipped with a large number of rich and colorful pictures with graphics,tables.Textbook also contains 'Thinking and Communication' and 'scientific inquiry' column in order to improve student's thinking ability.What's more,educational programs like'Scientific View' and 'Material Card' is helpful to improve students' interest in learning and develop the students' field of vision.But in actual teaching level,textbooks are always neglected by teachers and students and token place by all kinds of teaching materials.In the third year review of secondary school,Chemistry textbooks are always put in the highest level of shelf,then teachers desks and students' bags are filled with wide variety of teaching reference materials instead.Because these reference books process,combine,reorganize the knowledge more in comparison to textbooks and eliminate the teachers and students from the extraction and summarization process which attracts the majority teachers and students.In fact,through the in-depth analysis of recent years' college entrance examination,it's not hard to find that the tendency of testing base knowledge points,turning back to textbooks,examining the students' acquiring,absorbing,integration,transformation ability to knowledge in textbook and testing students' information ability,understanding ability and thinking ability.Otherwise,learning and reviewing without textbook will only increase the burden of students and make the students be lost in the stream of questions with the using of varieties of reference materials.This paper analyses the concrete problems existing in the process of students'textbook using according to the questionnaire.Through interviews,it summarizes the teachers'perspectives and practices on textbook using,extending the research on and giving improvement methods and teaching solutions to how to guide students turning back to textbook and emphasizing the usage of textbook during daily learning or review period for college entrance examination.Finally,I put the methods and solutions into practice in teaching activity and provided a typical teaching case.
