In 2002 the country once again revised the "guidelines for the" national ordinary college sports curriculum teaching,for the future of the country ordinary university sports teaching development were pointed out,put forward new requirements on the football teaching for college students.In order to adapt to the new requirements to the first,according to the Hebei science and technology college football teaching problems in the implementation process,combined with the football teaching experience,explores the methods and means in accordance with the actual situation of the football teaching,classroom organization form closer to the reform of college football teaching ideas,cultivating students’ interest,improve the students’ classroom activities initiative and team awareness,to enable students to develop good habit of lifelong physical exercise.provide reference for other colleges and universities in Hebei football teaching.The teaching method plays an important role in the football teaching.It is an effective way to realize the teaching goal and accomplish the teaching task,and affect the teaching efficiency of the football class.With the correct use of teaching methods,students will practice in class,improve their interest in football and the enthusiasm of football practice,effectively complete the task of football classroom teaching,and vice versa.In this study,the football elective course students of Hebei Institute of science and technology as the research object,using the research methods of literature,expert interviews,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,mathematical statistics method,the football teaching of Hebei University of technology are investigated.Through the comparative study of the experimental teaching in the 18 weeks football lesson,drawn the following conclusions 1,the new method of teaching in improving the basic skills of football is not very obvious.2,through group competition,group cooperation and group cooperation teaching methods,students’ team cohesion has been improved,but the effect of improving social cohesion is not obvious.3,the game teaching method and the group cooperation teaching method conform to the university student’s psychological characteristic,is advantageous in the active soccer class classroom atmosphere,raises the student to soccer’s interest.4,the new teaching method in practice teaching has improved the enthusiasm of students to participate in football exercises,and improved the effect of class practice in college football class,and the students are very satisfied with the teaching effect.
